I'd say my personal favorite aside from that is FFIX.I've been playing FFXIV on and off for years, but only recently got properly sucked in. The game has had a chokehold on me since the 2026 Valentine's event.

About N'taya
" Everything I thought I was is starting to die "
A somewhat temperamental young woman carrying the heavy burden of memories tainted by suffering. Kind deep down, but quick to twist the truth in situations in which it may prove beneficial. Learned to hide behind a mask of sorts, often playing up an air-headed persona to hide what she feels is "rotting" beneath. Has a well-hidden aversion to open flames, and a visceral fear of Viera men.

✨🥀💛🥀✨Having been born to a Seeker father and Keeper mother, N'taya was born and raised alongside her older sister in a small home at the edge of a forest, though she could no longer tell you exactly where it was located. She was close to her sister, N'tsumi, and spent much time watching her mother tend to the various plants around their home.Though she greatly takes after her father, N'rhir, she does possess slightly longer canines than the average Seeker, a trait she inherited from her mother, Nayomi.

Though the reason behind it remains unknown to her to this day, her home was burned to ash by men that sought to steal her father's earnings following a particularly fruitful mining expedition. When the men were unable to locate their spoils, they struck down N'rhir and Nayomi as they protected their daughters. N'tsumi, too, lost her life in an attempt to get her sister to safety.N'taya, now alone, was taken to be sold, the struggle that ensued resulting in the scar on her nose, and a scar upon her back that she now goes to great lengths to keep hidden.

Having been rescued by a woman who took pity on her, N'taya found herself in Ul'dah, where she later came to find employment at a brothel.After some years there, a Viera man became one of her favorite regulars, though the arrangement turned sour as he grew increasingly demanding, and she eventually rejected him. His unwillingness to accept her rejection led him to stalk her, resulting in a long-lasting fear of Viera men.Shortly following his departure from the city-state, N'taya expressed a desire to become an adventurer, to gain strength and an understanding of who she was, and soon set out for the Shroud at 24 years old.
